Father’s Day 2025

River Life celebrated Father’s Day with messages from three of our leaders—Tom Golden, Nick Scarpati, and Glenn Kight—each offering a heartfelt and challenging word to honor dads and point us to our heavenly Father.

God Is on My Side

God is on my side

Life is full of ups and downs, but one thing is certain—God is on our side (Psalm 56:9). David experienced moments of struggle and doubt, yet he held onto the truth that God was for him. Pastor Glenn reminded us that God’s love isn’t based on our abilities or worthiness; He cares for us deeply and offers grace instead of justice (Romans 5:8, 1 Peter 5:7). No matter our failures or uncertainties, we have permanent access to His presence (Psalm 41:12). Even when we don’t know what to do, God does, and His plans will always prevail.

Open My Eyes | Pastor Glenn Kight

In his powerful message this Sunday, Pastor Glenn Kight explored the profound words of Psalm 119:18, ‘Open My Eyes to the wonderful things in your law.’ This verse reminds us of the importance of seeking the divine wisdom and guidance found within God’s word.

Psalm 112:5 | Pastor Glenn Kight

This week we heard a powerful message from Pastor Glenn Kight about Psalms 112:4. ‘Even in darkness light dawns for the upright, for those who are gracious and compassionate and righteous.’ People are living every day with crippling fear, anxiety, and debt but God is a light in the darkness in those stations. For every trick the devil has, God has a plan. Watch the video to hear more about how Pastor Glenn sees Psalms 112:4 unfolding in his food, freezer, and missions ministries.

The Gift that keeps on Giving | Pastor Glenn Kight

On Christmas we reflect on the many gifts given to us by friends and family. God gives us far more substantial gifts than the physical ones we received today. Gifts like healing, provision and rest. But the greatest present of all if the presence of Jesus.

This week Pastor Glenn Kight talks about discipleship and how to win souls for Jesus. We also get to hear from our friends in the Philippines that we support financially through our Missions Ministry work.
