Feeding the Spirit and the Team: How Our Tiger Chow Crew Fueled Dunnellon’s Game Night

Feeding the Spirit and the Team How Our Tiger Chow Crew Fueled Dunnellon’s Game Night At River Life Church, our Love The 352 initiative is more than just a mission; it’s a movement, and our “Tiger Chow Crew” is leading the charge. On Friday, August 23rd, our crew showed up big time for Dunnellon High School’s home football game, making sure that everyone—from the players to the fans—had what they needed for a night to remember. The evening kicked off with our Tiger Chow Crew providing a hearty meal to the football players, cheerleaders, and band members. Special thanks to Julie’s Sub Shop for not only preparing the delicious food but also serving it alongside us. We know that performing at your best requires more than just skill—it takes energy. So before the game even started, we made sure these student-athletes had the fuel they needed to bring their A-game. Before the players headed to the field, Pastor Tom took a moment to share a meaningful devotional with the team. He offered words of encouragement and spiritual guidance, reminding the players that their strength comes not just from their physical abilities, but from their faith and the community that supports them. It was a powerful way to set the tone for the evening, grounding the players in purpose and unity before the big game. Love The 352’s Tiger Chow Crew helps in the Concession Stand. As game time approached, our volunteers didn’t stop. We headed over to the field, ready to support the event in every way possible. Some of our crew took on the essential role of the “chain gang,” managing the signal poles with precision and keeping the game on track. Others headed up to the box, ensuring that everything ran smoothly from above. Meanwhile, the concession stand was buzzing with activity, thanks to our hardworking volunteers. The smell of sizzling food filled the air, drawing fans from the stands to grab a bite before cheering on their team. We served up everything from burgers to snacks, making sure that no one went hungry during the big game. During halftime, we made sure the players had snacks to keep their energy up for the second half.  This night was about more than just football; it was about coming together as a community. Our Tiger Chow Crew was there from start to finish, making sure that everyone—from the athletes to the audience—felt supported and cared for. We couldn’t have done it without the incredible generosity of our Tiger Chow Crew Sponsors, and a special thank you goes out to Julie’s Sub Shop for preparing and serving the delicious meals that kept everyone going strong. At River Life Church, we believe in serving our community with love and dedication, and our Tiger Chow Crew is the perfect example of how we put that belief into action—one game, one meal, and one act of service at a time. Tiger Chow Crew: Fueling Faith and Football

Pastor Tom gives a deviotional before an away game to the dunnellon highschool tigers august 2024

Tiger Chow Crew: Fueling Faith and Football At River Life Church, our Love the 352 initiative is all about showing God’s love in practical ways to our community. One of our favorite ways to do this is through our Tiger Chow Crew, where we have the privilege of offering food, service, and devotion to our dedicated student-athletes, colorguards, and cheerleaders during home games. This past Friday, August 16th, was a little different as the team prepared for an away game at Wiregrass Ranch. Before they headed out, Pastor Tom shared a meaningful devotional with the student-athletes, encouraging and uplifting them before they took to the field. His words served as a powerful reminder of faith and resilience, setting a positive tone for the journey ahead. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zi_2D3Ql3yY Pastor Tom Delivers an Inspiring Devotion to the DHS Team. While the team was gearing up for the game, our Tiger Chow Crew was there to support in any way they could. After the meal, they lent a hand to the coaches, helping with the cleanup and ensuring everything was taken care of. A big shoutout goes to Julie’s Southern Sub Shop for providing and serving the delicious food that fueled our athletes and performers. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to support these student-athletes, both spiritually and physically, as they represent our community. It’s more than just a meal—it’s a chance to connect, encourage, and serve with love. Feeling Inspired to Join Us?
