The Caramel Macchiato is the most popular drink in America right now. Everybody wants one, some people believe they can’t start their day without one. But don’t get distracted by an enticing coffee, seek Jesus first. America’s favorite drink will eventually change, but Jesus will never change. He is eternal and will always be ready to lift you up when the things of this world let you down.

A Slow Start Doesn’t Mean an Unfantastic Finish | Leave Your Legacy | Pastor Tom
This week Pastor Tom continues his series on Leave Your Legacy. A slow start to your life, a season, or even your faith doesn’t mean that you can’t have a fantastic finish. Take Paul for instance, he had a very slow start in faith; he even persecuted Christians! But in 2 Timothy 4:6-8, as he is in prison and knows what comes next…. death. Paul still chose to leave a legacy and write to Timothy encouraging him to keep faith in Jesus.
Leaving a Legacy: Tiger Chow Crew’s Heartwarming Home Game Feast
Leaving a Legacy: Tiger Chow Crew’s Heartwarming Home Game Feast On the evening of September 8th, under the glow of the Friday night lights, the Tiger Chow Crew at River Life Church gathered to make a difference once again. A thrilling home football game between the Dunnellon High School Tigers and their formidable opponents, Vanguard High School. But amidst the excitement of the game, it was the warmth of community and the spirit of legacy that truly shone. Feeding More than Just Hunger The Tiger Chow Crew, known for their unwavering dedication, had a mission that went beyond simply feeding empty stomachs. They set up a banquet fit for champions. The players, coaches, band members, and cheerleaders of the Dunnellon High School Tigers were in for a treat. A Feast for the Soul But the nourishment provided wasn’t limited to the delicious food on the tables. Before the feast began, Pastor Tom, the guiding light of River Life Church, shared a small but impactful devotional with the young athletes. He spoke about the concept of leaving a legacy, encouraging them to consider the mark they wished to leave on the world, both on and off the field. There is Room for Your Legacy in this World Pastor Tom’s words resonated deeply with the young hearts in the room. He emphasized that there is room for your legacy in this world. Any one of the young athletes there could be in the history books 10 or 20 years from now. Even if you don’t make it into the history book, there is room for your legacy. His message wasn’t just a pep talk; it was a reminder that every moment, every choice, and every action contributes to the story they’ll leave behind. Join the Legacy The Tiger Chow Crew’s dedication to making a difference in the lives of Dunnellon High School’s young athletes extends far beyond the football field. It’s about instilling values, building character, and fostering a sense of community that transcends the game. If you’re looking to be part of a ministry that leaves a lasting legacy of love and support, consider joining the Tiger Chow Crew at River Life Church. Sign Up to Volunteer In the end, it was more than just a home game feast; it was a testament to the power of community and the importance of leaving a legacy that goes far beyond any scoreboard. The Tiger Chow Crew continues to be a shining example of how small acts of kindness and inspiration can make a big difference in the lives of our youth, one game at a time.

Keep the Faith Until the Vinegary End | Pastor Tom Golden
This week Pastor Tom starts a new Sermon Series called Leave Your Legacy. The Apostle Paul did not get to retire, as some of us would like to. His retirement was from a prison cell. But he kept the faith, and left a legacy for Timothy to become the next Apostle. Pastor Tom uses Apple Cider Vinegar to show us what it’s like when we hear sound doctrine: and leave a legacy of faith. It’s hard to swallow and your face puckers up: but it’s good for, not just you, but the people who come after you.
Heaven Was Always The Default | Pastor Andie Cotignola
This week, Guest Pastor, Andie Cotignola, talked with us about deconstruction. In modern times, when using this word, we often talk about people backsliding into sin. But the truth is that Jesus has always called us to deconstruction: from ourselves. Watch the below to see Andie illustrate how the deconstruction of ourselves should look.

The players and coaches felt more than just the nourishment of a meal that night; they felt the warmth of a community that stands together. The Tiger Chow Crew’s dedication serves as a living testament to the positive impact that can be achieved when individuals unite for a common cause.
