Hope, Help & Healing | Pastor Keith Turcotte

As we step into a new year, Pastor Keith Turcotte shared a powerful message of Hope, Help, and Healing for 2025. Reflecting on his experience as a biker preacher, Keith spoke about seeking God’s wisdom while ministering to nontraditional crowds at a Harley Davidson event. God’s response to him was clear: “Hope, Help, and Healing.”
Keith reminded us that while 2024 may have been challenging for many, God knows our struggles and promises better days ahead. In Lamentations 3, Jeremiah admitted to losing hope, but he found renewal by recalling God’s faithfulness and past miracles. Similarly, Keith urged us to combat the hopelessness that plagues the world by focusing on the Gospel—the ultimate good news.
Drawing attention to the symbols of hope during the holiday season, such as Christmas lights shining in the darkness, Keith encouraged us not to “pack away” our hope with the decorations. Instead, we must share the light of Jesus with others, keeping our faith visible to the world.
In John 14, Keith emphasized the vital role of the Holy Spirit, our divine helper. Unlike any earthly source of aid, the Spirit provides guidance and strength for daily living. Finally, in Isaiah 53:4–5, we are reminded of God’s power to bring healing, whether it’s physical, emotional, or spiritual.
Keith’s message was a timely reminder that God offers hope for the weary, help through the Holy Spirit, and healing for all our burdens. As we embrace 2025, we are encouraged to anchor ourselves in these truths and let God’s light shine brightly in our lives.
Lamentations 3:22-26
22 Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed,
for his compassions never fail.
23 They are new every morning;
great is your faithfulness.
24 I say to myself, “The Lord is my portion;
therefore I will wait for him.”
25 The Lord is good to those whose hope is in him,
to the one who seeks him;
26 it is good to wait quietly
for the salvation of the Lord.
John 14:15-17
Jesus Promises the Holy Spirit
15 “If you love me, keep my commands. 16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever— 17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be[a] in you.
Isaiah 53:4-5
4 Surely he took up our pain
and bore our suffering,
yet we considered him punished by God,
stricken by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions,
he was crushed for our iniquities;
the punishment that brought us peace was on him,
and by his wounds we are healed.
