On Sunday, Sept 24, 2023 we had a guest speaker, Dr Deanna Shrodes.
Dr. Shrodes is the Director for PF Women, and organization with a misson to help women of every generation thrive and reach their full potential through the power of the Holy Spirit.
The mission of her work is directly related to the message she gave on Sunday. The purpose of the Pentecostal Power, ie the purpose of the Power of the Holy Spirit. When we are first saved, and recieve the power of the Holy Spirit, it feels great. But this power was meant for more than just feeling good. It’s meant to make us go out and help, pray for others, lead them towards Christ.

The Workers Are Few
35 Jesus went through all the towns and villages, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and healing every disease and sickness. 36 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. 37 Then he said to his disciples, “The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few. 38 Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.”
