Feeding the Teachers at Dunnellon High School
At River Life Church, our commitment to serving the Dunnellon community is stronger than ever, especially as the new school year begins. This year, we kicked off our Back to School support with a series of events that highlighted our love for both teachers and students in our local schools.
We began by showing our appreciation for the incredible educators at Dunnellon High School. On their first planning day back, our River Life Food Truck was on-site, serving up free lunches to teachers as a small token of our gratitude for all they do. It was a joy to see smiles and hear the stories of dedication as they prepared for the year ahead.
Marion County’s Community Give-back at Dunnellon Elementary
At the same time, Pastor Tom was busy at Dunnellon Elementary School, where he participated in the Back Pack-a-Thon hosted by Marion County Schools. During this event, we handed out free school supplies to students, ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed. It was a wonderful opportunity to meet families, share our support, and spread a little extra joy as students prepared for their first day.
Honoring Teachers with Prayer
On Sunday, our congregation came together to honor and pray over the teachers who play such a vital role in shaping the future of our community. It was a heartfelt moment as we lifted them up in prayer, asking for strength, wisdom, and patience in the year ahead.
Welcome Back with Love The 352 Serve Team
But our support didn’t end there. On Monday, August 12th, the first day of school, our Love The 352 Serve Team was out in front of the schools, holding up signs with messages like “Welcome Back!” and other encouraging slogans. It was an energetic and uplifting way to greet both students and teachers, helping to set a positive tone for the new school year.
