Pastor Tom reminded us that when Jesus declared these words, He was claiming the same authority as God’s self-revelation to Moses: “I Am.” Each statement was more than words—Jesus proved it. When He said, “I am the bread of life,” He fed people. When He said, “I am the light of the world,” He gave sight to the blind.

Jesus is not just a path; He is the Way. He carries us like a driver on a journey—our job is to trust and follow. Pastor Tom used the story of the Thai soccer team trapped in a flooded cave to illustrate that sometimes only one person in the world has the ability to rescue. For us, that rescuer is Jesus. He alone is the waymaker, the truth, and the life, proving to be everything we need in every season of our lives.

John 14:6
