Evidence That God Cares for Us

Some may ask, How do we know that God is for us? Scripture makes it clear:

Romans 5:8 – “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son…”
1 Peter 5:7 – “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”
2 Peter 3:9 – “The Lord… is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”
God’s love isn’t based on our performance, our skills, or our social status. He doesn’t choose people because of their qualifications—He chooses them because He cares.

Grace Instead of Justice
At some point in life, we all find ourselves in a place where we don’t deserve mercy—we deserve consequences. Have you ever messed up so badly that you knew you needed grace instead of justice? That’s exactly what God offers us. He sent His Son not to condemn us, but to bring us back into harmony with Him, so we can have peace.

David recognized this. In Psalm 41:12, the NET Bible says, “As for me, you uphold me because of my integrity; you allow me permanent access to your presence.” Through Jesus, we don’t just get temporary grace—we get permanent access to God’s presence.

When I didn’t know Him, He already knew me.
When I didn’t know what to do, God did.
My plans may not always come to pass, but God’s plans will.
Anointing and favor come from God, not from our own ability. That means even when we feel unworthy, even when we fall short, God is still for us.
